Fishy Delights 15: Reese Lightly Smoked Brisling Sardines

I don't think I have ever had better sardines than these Reese Lightly Smoked Mediterranean Style Brisling Sardines with Black Olives in Olive Oil.

Tiny, tender fishies perfectly prepared - no guts remaining, no undercooked skeletons, no disgusting scales. The delicate smoke flavoring compliments the fruity olive oil, sweet red pepper, and Italian herbs in which they're packed.

I totally agree. They're superb. I discovered them at Ocean State Job Lot!

Now I see you also paid a buck for these - probably in the same or similar discount place. I wonder if they've discontinued this product - I don't see it on their website, or at the outlets mentioned there, except on backorder at MyBrands.

Bingo: Ocean State Job Lot it is! That's the problem with finding stuff at job lot stores - you get a product you really love, and there's no way to find more of it when you run out.

When Ocean State had a ton of these, I bought 12 cans. I've still got a few left, and I'm going to miss them when they're gone.
