Heirloom Tomato?

My garden hasn't been doing so well this year, and it's been especially bad for the tomatoes.  Last year I had a bumper crop, this year I might get two or three pounds of tomatoes in total. My heirlooms have saved the day, though, especially this variety, Baboon's Ass

Hahaha. You should most definitely trademark Baboon's Ass variety tomatoes.

You might want to introduce your Baboon to Charmin. ;-)

Seriously - it's been a weird year for everyone. My area has gazillions of acres of corn - a lot with one or two kernels per cob.

Garden produce is pretty sucky all around. The only good thing is the yard has "burned up" and I may only have to mow once more this year.

Dave, try German Yellow Stripe or German Red Stripe next year. We plant it every year and it produces like no other. Awesome tasting tomatoes with lower acid. Great flavor and over water/ under water situations do not effect it. I cannot recommend it more.

My garden pretty much rotted away during the last rain storm. Only thing that is growing is basil and habanero peppers. Next year I'm sticking to herbs and peppers. Forget zucchini and tomatoes!
