eh, that's no worse than my brother's exaggeratedly pronouncing the L in that word as in "saLLLmon." Thirty years of correcting this hasn't sunk in.
what about "grilled sushi?"
Can't have "grilled sashimi" but you surely can have grilled sushi (btw - sushi means "rice") which would then be fried rice.
Can't have grilled sashimi - but, you surely can have grilled sushi. Which would be fried rice. ;)
