In a recent article in Forbes, Larry Olmstead reveals the true nature of beef sold in the United States as "Kobe beef." It's quite a read, and I recommend it.

The article is informative, however the comments got snobbish really fast. Sometimes I really want to challenge those people to a blind taste test to see whether they can really tell the difference between domestic and foreign Parmesan cheese, champagne/sparkling wine, balsamic vinegar, or anything else people can superior about just because they use the imported version.
